When you see a teammate in a good position, pass the ball quickly. After your pass, get yourself into good field position. Get in front of blockers so that your teammate can easily pass the ball back to you or to another teammate who is in a better position.
To make the transition from receiving the ball to directing it more fluid, don’t trap or stop the ball completely. Instead, as the ball approaches, aim to make contact with the top or middle of the ball then tap it in the direction you want it to go and continue to maneuver down the field.

To keep the other team guessing, cross the ball in exactly the same pattern for a few plays. The defense players will start to see the pattern and expect it. However, you will then throw them off by passing to the opposite direction.
